The Gemballa Crew

Gemballa MIG-U1 (based on the Ferrari Enzo) & Avalanche (based on the Porsche 997).

Gemballa is a well-known Porsche tuning house. It seems as though a wealthy individual asked Gemballa to produce a private one-off for their Ferrari Enzo.

Here is more information about Gemballa

Getting interested…

So as it turns out, although the 458 Italia is my favorite Ferrari, I’ve been spending time reading more about the 599XX. From every angle, it’s just a car to die for. The look of it is just growing on me. With that said…

X_X

A picture of the aggressive, yet beautiful Ferrari 599XX. I’ve read that the XX package from Ferrari can cost an upwards of $2,000,000. Only the wealthiest of people would take that extra step. I don’t blame them. If I had that much money to blow on a Ferrari, I would certainly upgrade it. It’s functional, it’s beautiful, and it sets you apart from the regular owners.

I’m just waiting to see what the future Ferrari 458XX is going to look like. I’ve seen some renders of it….but I’d really like to see what the team in Maranello can come up with.

Thanks for the picture, Pixelklinik!

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The Tipo F140C 6.0 L (5999 cc) V12 engine produces a maximum 612 hp, making it the most powerful series production Ferrari road car of that time. This is one of the few engines whose output exceeds 100 hp per liter of displacement without any sort of forced-induction mechanism such as supercharging or turbocharging. Its 608 N·m of torque will also be a new record for Ferrari’s GT cars. Most of the modifications to the engine were done to allow it to fit in the Fiorano’s engine bay (the original Enzo version could be taller as it would not block forward vision due to its mid-mounted position)

Ferrari 599 Handling GT Evoluzione Package

An upgrade that improves the car’s handling the package, also called HGTE or Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione, includes a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magneto-rheological shock absorbers when the manettino is at its sportier settings. The ride height has also been lowered, which lowers the car’s centre of gravity. The package also includes optimised tyres featuring a compound that offers improved grip. The car’s electronics have also changed. The gearbox’s shifts are faster in high-performance settings, while new engine software improved accelerator response.
The exhaust silencer was modified to produce more marked and thrilling sound under hard usage whilst still delivering just the right comfort levels at cruising speed.
