Getting interested…

So as it turns out, although the 458 Italia is my favorite Ferrari, I’ve been spending time reading more about the 599XX. From every angle, it’s just a car to die for. The look of it is just growing on me. With that said…

Lying in wait…

The Ferrari 275 GTB.

The Ferrari 275 was a 2-seat front-engined Gran Turismo automobile produced by Ferrari between 1964 and 1968. It used a 3.3 L (3286 cc) Colombo 60° V12 engine and produced 280-300 hp. The Pininfarina-designed body was a graceful evolution of the car’s predecessor, the 250, and strongly contrasted with its replacement, the Daytona. The 275 introduced Ferrari’s “transaxle” concept, where the transmission and rear axle are integrated.

Spring time…

…won’t be for another few months. However, this nice Ford GTX looks like it’s in the mood for some sunny drives.

Yeah, they went there.

This classic AC Cobra has been fitted with a Mercedes V12 engine.
From the Flickr page:

Engine: Mercedes V 12
Builder: Magnus Jinstrand
Painter: Frederik Mattson
Owner: Magnus Jistrand

Taken at X-treme Tuning & Custom Car Show in Helsinki 12th of September 2010.

The craftsmanship is amazing and turned this easily-recognizable classic into a force to really be reckoned with.

Thank you to Oscar von Bonsdorff for sharing this!

On Guard!

The Aventador is one of the few Lambos that I would ever want to get. The car’s appearance does not scream “look at me” but the exhaust notes state otherwise.

Thanks to T-570 Photography for the wonderfully composed shot.

More TL Love

The owner obviously put a lot of work into this TL, even if it’s just a bunch of parts put on it. Volk TE37 wheels, Project Mu brakes complimented with an ARC front splitter make the car look more aggressive and stand out from the rest. I find it wonderful that the owner did not go cheap with the parts unlike many of the “enthusiasts” of today. Support the companies that produce top-tier products and, as always, stay away from knock-offs!

Blow Me Away

Old school VW Bettle with a huge supercharger :D

Um…

The thing I really do not understand about this whole video is why the driver of the camera car didn’t just move to the side and let the other car drive away? I mean like really? How stupid do you have to be to not just GET OUT OF THE WAY?

The video is interesting and gets really crazy at 1:55. You’ll see why.

No Joke

Happy April Fools Day!

A yellow Porsche Carrera GT in yellow? That’s rare.
